Delaying /msg for bot after connecting to channel
« on: October 25, 2005, 09:33:09 AM »
We have a nice bot that gives us 'op' status after joining the channel when password is sent via /msg.

But when I put these /join and /msg on autoperform, icechat instanly sends /msg messages before I get to channel.

How can I dealy /msg string for letīs say 20 seconds?

You would use a timer in this case.
Look at the /timer command, typing /timer on its own will give you the syntax for it. So you would set it for 1 repetitiion, with a delay of 20 seconds.
