A few questions
« on: March 05, 2004, 12:43:04 PM »
I've just discovered Ice chat and it looks

pretty good. It's not working quite how I want it to though.

1. How do I stop Icechat highlighting any line with my

name in it? Or at least make it the same colour as the rest of the text.

2. One of my regular channels is

irc.beyondirc.net #knowitall and it isn't displayed correctly in Icechat (it is in mIRC).

1. In the latest version, there is no way to turn this feature off, but it has been added to

the new and upcoming version. (5.20)

2. What do you mean by , it is not displayed correctly? I have no idea what you

mean by that. Are you meaning ops/voice, etc, its showing different kinds?  New user modes have also been added to 5.20. The

"qau" (!~-) modes have been added.

Well some of the commands for the bot in there don't get an

answer back. For example !ping. The start of some of the lines of text are chopped off too. For example '30 seconds to go'

shows up as 'seconds to go'.

the server console also shows a couple of phantom mode changes. e.g. '[17:41] * Your

mode is now ' without any mode showing up. One appears when I join the server (or possibly the channel) and the other

appears when I log in. All the proper mode changes show up too.

Ok, I will test it out, and fix any problems that I find.

Thanks
