Post by: Oneatatime on May 03, 2006, 08:14:47 AM
Hi everyone, I know someone is gunna just tell me to read the help file, but I have a situation where I need to keep the same text colour when I reply to someone without using the colour select box every time. I cant see any options for this, is there a way to do it?
Thanks in advance

There is a shortcut of placing down a color code. Press CTRL-K and then the color number.
And then continue on with the rest of the message.

You would need to make some kind of a script for that, which would be a bit complicated.

I ussually go to the RED A at the top of the screen and it opens a box with the channels, color themes fonts etc. Click on the COLORS and than under the First heading called Channel Data click on OWN TEXT and pick a color from the color chart..I prefer the bright marine blue since it's easy on the eyes.....now everytime you type your text will always be in that color.

I think he wants to send it in a certain color, not read it in a certain color.
And to do that, would require a script.
I read in the Scripts section on someone that wanted this, so read that section, and the answer may lie there waiting.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your replies.
I'll spend some time searching around.

Great program, by the way.
