Title: Send /whois exclusively to console?
Post by: elflegend on January 21, 2011, 09:47:59 AM
I hope this is the right board to post this on...

I set up my 'events' setting to send /whois messages to the console. However that only works if I don't have any queries with the person in question open. Is there any way to set it up so that the /whois info -always- gets sent to the console, even if I'm chatting with them? It'd be a help in keeping my logs a little cleaner.

Thanks!

Sorry, that option is not available.
The only other options is to script it, as it fires the ONWHOISREPLY script function anytime it receives data.

But even that would not keep the info from appearing in the query window, right? At least, it still does even when I set the /whois event to 'Hide'

Yes, there is no way to stop it from going to the query window, that is hard coded into the client.

With the next version of IceChat that is currently in development, this can be changed.
