ONQUERY - how to use?
« on: June 02, 2006, 06:26:32 PM »
I want to write a script (IceChat 7) which will play a sound whenever a NEW query comes in.  The description of ONQUERY makes it sound it will 'fire' every time there is a message in a query - don't want that.

Can anyone gives me some tips on how to get started?

Thanks,
Ch

You know what, I dont think there is a way to see if it an actual "new" query.

Something will have to get added to the new beta build of IceChat 7.
I'll post information when its released.

Ya, it wont be an IceChat 5 style script, it will be the new style. So something like this most likely:

on 1:OPEN:?:/echo -c ->> Just opened query window with $nick

or

on 1:OPEN:?:/play somesound.wav

I plan on releasing another beta some time in the next week.
