The situation:
Somebody has op and voice when I join the channel. I take op from him.
Now he should still have voice but this is not shown.

I do not have this problem, I just tested it and it showed the voices properly. Build 20060402

When you initially join a channel, if they have both + and @, the server does not tell you this. It only says the user has @.
If you are in the channel, and they receive either or both, then IceChat remembers it.

So, there is nothing that can be done about it.

Maybe an option like "update userlist" could be added :)
