I'm not sure how to do this, I did a bit of searching, but didn't see what I was looking for.  When I change my nick back to my default registered nick, I get a message from the server that says, "This nickname is owned by someone else.  Please choose another.  If this is your nickname, type: /PASS <password>"  I would like to automate the /PASS command whenever this notice is received.  I'm pretty sure I need to use an OnNotice script, but I'm not sure how to write it out... syntax etc....

Not only do I need help with how to write it, but after I write it in the editor, where do I put it?  Thanks in advance for any help!

Open the Script Editor, and make sure you select the Script Editor Tab.

Under the Script events menu, you have examples of most of the events that IceChat uses, under there is a OnNotice event.

IceChat Help (under the Help menu) has a lot of good information on how to use scripts, you can start with that. If you need any further help, feel free to ask.

Once you are finished editing, select save from the file menu, and enter your filename.
Then select Close and Update scripts from the File Menu.
