Trouble Installing

When I'm installing Icechat 5.5 This pops up:
unable to register the DLL/OCX: Loadlibrary failed; code 5. access is denied
i can abort, cancel, or retry (retry doesn't fix it).
please help me

Do you have admin rights on the PC you are installing on?

What version if windows are you installing on?

I don't know what admin rights are and im using win xp

Admin rights, meaning you need full permission to windows to be able to install the program.

No, it has nothing to do with getting windows legally.

Do you have an Administrator Account on your Windows XP Machine?  This gets full access to your computer, so you can install software. If you do not have administrative access, you are going to get errors like this.

It all depends what user ID you are logging onto the PC with, and if it has the "administrative rights".

How do you logon to your Windows XP computer, are there multiple accounts, or just 1 that automatically logs on.

Then Yes, I do have Admin Rights.

Then I have no idea what the problem is.
Re-download the setup for 5.50 and try again, OR, go to the Client Archives, and try installing an older version, and then upgrading it to 5.50 with the IceChat Updater.

Other then that, I can not think of any reason what is wrong.
