autoperform before autojoin???
« on: May 31, 2005, 12:06:59 PM »
hello, i just installed icechat on my pc.
i think its very cool, but one thing is buggin me:

there is a channel where i use to idle in, that needs users to be authed before they can join.

i put a line under autoperform, and it works - but the client tries to join the channel before the auth request is been processed by the server and therefore the autojoin gets refused.

i tried to put a line /join #channel after the auth request under autoperform but that would not work too.

is there a way how i can tell the autojoin task to wait some time (like 5 seconds) before it joins the channels in list?

Snerf

Yes, you can use a /timer command, and set a delay of 5 seconds.

Code: [Select]

/timer 1 1 5 /join #somechannel
