Would be a nice feature. Do you have any plans

for this? Would you be using something like SSH2?

I kinda suppose you already know it, but if you have any

plans on doing anything with SSH, maybe you can make use of putty <http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/>.

It's a free SSH client for Windows and it is also used in other free software that implements SSH in any way, like

WinSCP.

I thought I'd let you know :)

Well, I am guessing there is no source code for Putty, so,

not much use to me then. No sense using a seperate program to do the work, I would rather have it integrated. SSL Support

will be possible in IceChat 6, its just a matter of getting around to it.

I hate to be the one to tell you the bad news, but you

guessed wrong :-).
The source-code is available here: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.zip

The

link to the full download site is: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html

You can view the

license here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/licence.html. It's open source so I think they'll let you

use it if you'd ask

I hope this will help you

Well, I really see no point in it, so its hardly a

priority.

Once the client is in Beta, I might look into it, but thats not until Spring 2005, I imagine.
