Anti-virus detects suspiciuos script in ver. 5.10
« on: January 09, 2004, 11:34:00 PM »
hi! :(
I

just wanna let you know that my anti-virus software detects some suspiciuos scripting activity when I am saving the main

settings in IceChat 5.10.
Here are the details:
Quote
The file IceChat5.exe contains suspiciuos scripting

activity.
Activity: The script is attempting to call the RegDelete method within the

IWshShell3 object.
File path: C:Program

files\IceChat5\Icechat5.exe

Status: Script execution has been

stopped
.

I hope that you can fix that.  :?

Sorry,

nothing can be done about it, I do not know what the problem is.
There is no registry code anywhere in IceChat in Saving

Settings, I can assure you that, but some virus scanners seem to think it does.

Its your choice what you want to do

about it.

Actually, now the problem has been found about the Registry

problem, and should no longer be a problem with Version 5.20, when its released.
