Emoticons praser // Time? // URL Copy&Paste/Click
« on: November 20, 2011, 08:51:10 PM »
First:
If you add an emoticon with a trigger like :3

It will be like:
[05  4:22] <User> Text
Instead of:
[05:34:22] <User> Text

One quick fix would be to start parsing emoticons after [time] or <user>

Second:
Where is the 12/24 hour time format option?

Third:
Sometimes urls are detected but doesn't actually open your browser if you click them, even though they are underlined.
Also; if you copy-paste an url; it very often looks like:
http008/domain.site.com/image.p
Instead of:
http://domain.site.com/image.png

And i do copy the entire url, yet the last one or two characters tend to not be copied.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are excellent

1. Easy to fix the parsing timestamp/emoticon issue, thanks

2. Small h's for 12 hours, H's for 24

3. Copy/pasting has a few minor issues, but I have never seen a URL that did not work when dbl clicked.

Ah nice.

About the url issue; it occurs when the url looks like this:

http://subdomain.mysite.com

Sometimes, but not always it also happens on links like:
http://mysite.com

They do get an underline, but the mouse pointer doesn't change into a hand if you hover over it and clicking will show the channel info window instead.
I may not be perfect, but parts of me are excellent

Thank you, that gives me something to work with and make it fixed for RC3.
