IceChat for Linux?
« on: August 24, 2010, 10:43:19 PM »
Just started running Unbuntu after a rather unfortunate hard drive partition issue... Yeah okay I deleted a partition without backing up. But that's not my question. I loved the windows version of IceChat and was wonder if there was a version of Linux.

Icechat 2009 will run in Linux if you have Mono installed. I do believe that Mono is installed by default in Ubuntu. Version 2009 is still in Alpha version though, not completed as of yet, but the source code isa available.

Are you opening the project in MonoDevelop?

Saying that it does not work, really does not give anyone here any leadway as to what the problem may be. Might want to tell us step by step what your trying.
