I'm not quite sure where to post this question so I'll sneak it in here.  I got this request today and was wondering if you could help. 

"i need an irc client for the blind compatible with windows seven. my old one is no longer supported."

Is there a screen reader with Windows 7 that will work with IceChat?

I am not aware of anything that works with IceChat and Windows 7. MS Agent did work in previous versions of Windows, but I think that it was discontinued with Windows 7. There is an MS Agent script in the IceChat 5 Scripts section, but again, you need MS Agent installed to make it work. It has the ability, with a bit of slight tinkering, to speak out what is being said in a channel.
