IceChat 2009 Alpha Development Status
« on: July 29, 2009, 09:32:58 AM »
IceChat 2009 Development has been going along steadily. It is nice to get some help with it, as this helps speed up the process of getting the program out of Alpha and into Beta.

We are testing it in Mono 2.x on a Linux box as well, to assure compatibility. This is also going very well, but we would appreciate some extra testers with this as well.

If you have any code improvements for us, please, do not hesitate to add it to the coding section of the Forum.

As the SVN is setup and the code is being downloaded more, things are progressing very well with IceChat 2009.  We are getting some help from a few people for testing and even submitting new code, which is fantastic.

We are finding a few small issues with Mono/Linux, mainly with middle mouse button clicks on the main Tab Bar causing the client to crash/and or act erratically. If anyone has some information regarding this, and a fix, we would most certainly be greatful.

Well, it seems that Codeplex has some issues with SVN, so I decided to Also setup SVN at Sourceforge.

https://icechat.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/icechat

So I will maintain the SVN on both sites.
