so what are some of the key differences between mirc's and icechat 7 scripting languages.

IceChat uses Visual Basic scripting, a real language.
mirc uses its own language, they are like night and day.

im actually referring to
http://www.icechat.net/site/index.php?irc-client=script7 it says here that it is not an exact copy of the actual mirc language. i was wondering what is different between them.

Too much detail to go into, but mainly, just the basics. Handles if statements a bit, and mot of the ON events.

Best thing to do is just try some stuff, and see what works. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask. The VB Script engine is not limited though, and you can do a lot more with it.
