INI File Checking
« on: August 15, 2008, 02:20:40 PM »
I have a script that needs to check if a key in an INI file is set to IN. Could I Use This?

Code: [Select]
If GetIniFile("AdminSys.ini","Admins","Sam","IN")=True then

I am a little puzzled on this one.  :?

-Sam
~ Sam

Its GetIniFile(filename,section,option,default_value) so...

if my inifile does not exist yet, GetIniFile("AdminSys.ini","Admins","Sam","out")="in" would be false, but say my ini file is:

[Admins]
sam = in

then GetIniFile("AdminSys.ini","Admins","Sam","out")="in" would be true. =True would not be right, the last paremeter is default value, it only comes into play if the option is not set.
