De Halfop, De Op, Re HOP, Re Op
« on: April 26, 2008, 06:16:38 PM »
I have these four scripts...

Code: [Select]
Sub ONTEXT(Message,NickName,Channel,Host,ServerNumber)
If Message = "!cmd: dehop" then
SendCommand "/mode #mcintec -h McInBot"
End If
End Sub

Code: [Select]
Sub ONTEXT(Message,NickName,Channel,Host,ServerNumber)
If Message = "!cmd: op" then
SendCommand "/cs op #mcinlinux "
End If
End Sub

Code: [Select]
Sub ONTEXT(Message,NickName,Channel,Host,ServerNumber)
If Message = "!cmd: deop" then
SendCommand "/mode #mcinlinux -o McInBot"
End If
End Sub

Code: [Select]
Sub ONTEXT(Message,NickName,Channel,Host,ServerNumber)
If Message = "!cmd: hop" then
SendCommand "/cs halfop #mcintec "
End If
End Sub

They are simple scripts to deop / de halfop the bot... etc.

They work fine without the If ISOP and If ISHALFOP lines, but when I include them, the scripts do not work... why does this happen?

Can not see what is broken, if the script is not posted.

SendCommand "/cs halfop #mcintec "

Dont you have to use the /cs command with a nickname?

Also, why is there a space after the channel name.
And again, no ',ServerNumber' at the end. Your terrible for not adding that.

I fail to see what this script is supposed to do.
Does it half op you, when someone else is typing that command?
Because you have not specified a nickname, I can only assume it is for yourself.
