Expand /run command to include command line arguments
« on: October 02, 2007, 04:24:34 PM »
* DarkStar pops back onto the board after being away for so long, with a request!

I think it would be quite useful if we could add argumetns to the /run command. Like: /run C:\myprogram.exe myarg1 myarg2

Currently if you were to try this Icechat doesn't open the program, Which brings me to the conclusion that either 1, this feature is not implemented, or 2, it is but im doing it wrong

Could be tricky, if there are spaces in the command, would have to add quotes around it.
Will add it for 7.61.

You can use batch files to run arguments. I have tested it with all manner of things and haven't had any problems yet. It would be nice to allow it from within the client though. Then again if you don't need to use that command often or often with those arguments it is even more work to go about it this way.
