Title: 20060325 - Color problem
Post by: Nequissimus on March 29, 2006, 10:30:30 AM
You seem to have changed something about the color interpreter as the colored lines in my irc chats are very weird.
Sometimes the first letter of a word is missing, sometimes bg and font color are the same although they are not supposed to be the same.

Plz return to the old color interpretation :D

Pic (looks perfect in mIRC):

The only change I made in 0325 was emoticons are now enabled.
No other color changes in the code were made.

Other then that, I can not fix the problem unless I have the raw color code data that is provided from the debug log. Then I can parse the text and see whats wrong.

Well, how do I get the full code with colour codes?
I thought I would get it if I took the log but there is just plain text in it.

If you open up the debug window, it will then give you all the raw data, including the color codes.
The regular log files have all that stuff stripped out.

There you are. I guess the problem is the missing second value for the colors but I am just guessing...

Well, the problem with that one is (the raw code you pasted), that it is using Black text colors. And your background color is black as well, so the text would show as invisible. This does not seem to be the same issue as you have in the picture you showed in the first message.

But I did notice one small problem with some spacing, so I will fix that.

Excellent, thats a bit more like it.
Seems I messed up on 2 things, background colors and how Character 15 was handled.
Both have been fixed, it looks like it should now.

Thanks
