Title: Changing DCC port settings
Post by: FelixRuina on May 02, 2004, 08:43:19 AM
I'm really loving icechat so far,

but I have one problem that I can't seem to figure out.  Many of the dcc fservs I like to use have firewall workarounds and

therefore don't serve out of the normal dcc port 59.  Is there any way to change the port in icechat?  I believe the mIRC

command was something like "/dccserver +sc [port] on" or something like that.  The /dccserver on command works in icechat,

but only to turn the dcc server on port 59 on or off.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your hard work.

No, currently there is no setting in IceChat.
I will make a

change to 5.20 to allow for this, and then post it when I am done with that.

Version 5.20 can now do /dccserver on/off [port]
The

default port is 59, but it can be changed. IE: /dccserver on 1024 will turn it on, on port

1024.
